DJ Lab is an exciting course for young creatives aged 18-30 who want to develop essential skills for DJing and live performance.
If you’re passionate about music, curious about DJing, or ready to step behind the decks, this 6-session course is your chance to build real skills in a supportive and empowering space.
DJ Lab is designed with young people, not just for them. Through a co-production approach, participants actively shape the course – from influencing the structure and vibe to contributing ideas around delivery and showcase format.

Cleo Savva
Cleo is a DJ, facilitator, and multi-instrumentalist with extensive experience across live performance and community music spaces. She has performed with The Moulettes, Miryam Solomon, and She Got Brass, bringing a dynamic, genre-spanning approach to her work. Alongside her performance career, Cleo runs the DJ collective Drum n Babes, creating inclusive spaces for women and non-binary DJs to develop their craft and build community.
Josh Oladipo
Josh is a music producer, DJ, and facilitator with a strong foundation in both live performance and music education. He performs with the acclaimed London-based jazz collective SteamDown under the name Intalekt, known for pushing boundaries across jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music. Josh also runs School of Bop, a music education initiative dedicated to developing the next generation of musicians and producers.

This course is open to young people aged 18–30 in Lewisham, particularly those from marginalised backgrounds who want to build confidence and creative skills in music.
Whether you’ve never touched decks before or you’ve been experimenting at home, if you’re ready to learn, collaborate, and perform – this space is for you. We’re looking for people with curiosity, dedication, and a love for music who are excited to work as part of a team to bring an event to life.
