Lewisham Music is delighted to announce a new phase of bursary support for children and families in Lewisham. Following a successful application to Awards for Young Musicians, Lewisham Music has recently been announced as London’s first ever Music Education Hub to benefit from their award-winning ‘Furthering Talent’ bursary programme.
Furthering Talent is designed to help musical young people from low income families from the moment the first sparks of potential appear. We will support their instrumental learning far beyond the whole class music lessons, so they can keep on playing music well into their teens and beyond.
